Custom dials, inscriptions in the case and bespoke artisan details like handmade engravings to the movement are some of the possibilities. We develop all our watches in-house. When we create a bespoke project for you, we’d first like to get to know you and your desires, so we can assure the design will align with your vision and our design philosophy.
Because of our unique 3D printing manufacturing process, we are able to realise personal three dimensional inscriptions into the caseband or caseback from the ground up. Your timepiece is really uniquely made for you from the very start of the manufacturing process.
Dial making is a specialist craft we mastered over the years. This includes using modern technologies to realise layered three dimensional dials, but also artisan techniques for finishing and pad-printing. Our design philosophy of “Horlogerie Brut” means we work with pure metals and create durable colours using galvanic plating, anodization, or natural patinas. We take great pride in developing dials with unique designs, out of the box materials and expressive textures.
Next to using traditional watchmaking tools and machines of up to 120 years old, we utilise a state-of-the-art laser for realising bespoke dials, movement details and three dimensional patterns and textures.
Even the fabrication of bespoke hands and bespoke manual finishing is something we can accommodate.
The token of traditional craftsmanship is treasured in the movement of the timepiece. Different kinds of hand-finishing is something we are proudly making in-house it our atelier in Delft.
Handmade engravings are characterised by their gracefully curved shapes and striking glossy cutting lines. We have the exceptional ability to offer you this unique and very elegant finishing onto the most delicate aspect of your watch: an embellishment of the movement and at the same time a token of dedication that fully expresses the beauty of craftsmanship. Engravings can vary from personal initials or texts up to full engravings based on a personal theme, a personal idea or a beloved pattern. Together with our hand-engraver we can envision a theme for your bespoke finished movement.
Interested in starting your own bespoke project?
To enter Bespoke we kindly ask you for a €2500,- deposit. This amount covers the initial costs for the design. Together we will define the project, including up to three revision rounds. The design will consist of a list of technical specifications and a description of aesthetics and specific details, together with an artist impression, process lead time and cost estimation. When the project is agreed upon, the deposit will be deducted from the price of the watch.
