Introducing the SIGNATURE Ornament

The SIGNATURE series embodies the new and distinctive design language of Holthinrichs Watches. It features a clean aesthetic with natural, smooth curves, striking angles, and a rich textural interplay. The result is a timeless design with inherent elegance and sophistication.

The inspiration for the case is drawn from Art-Nouveau and classic car design in which curves and spacious composition are key elements. By disconnecting the lugs from the central body of the case, we created the most elegant side profile. Each lug is sculpted as an elegant three-dimensional object, contributing to a design which could have been made 60 years ago, but through its modern approach in manufacturing remains stylish in the future.

We have put a tremendous amount of energy into the finishing, down to the smallest details of the design to make the design as sleek and elegant as possible. Sharp lines, refined angles and contrasting textures are carefully created to enhance the smooth lines and sleekness of the titanium case.

A deeper look into our new design language

Inspired by the timeless elegance of classic car designs and Art Nouveau, we are introducing our Signature Ornament. Our new signature design language. This striking new case shape features dramatically curved lugs that crawl from the backside all the way along the case band toward the bracelet, reminiscent of the side body work of wheel arches. The new titanium case design displays a mixture of the raw, 3D printed textures and selectively satin brushed curves, accentuating the flowing shapes.

Multi-layered Dial

Uniquely for the SIGNATURE, we developed a complex multi-layered dial to have the utmost three-dimensional impact to complete the overall sculptural design concept.

The first layer is crafted out of a heavily textured metal, available in 14K Yellow Gold, 18K Rose Gold, White Rhodium or Black Rhodium for a beautiful glittering effect. A custom-made double domed sapphire forms the second layer of the dial, providing an illusory optical depth: the pad-printed logo and minute indices printed onto the sapphire now appear to float. The third layer consists of a spectacular marker ring that has been milled out of a solid piece of metal where the hour indicators with applied super luminova C3 are cantilevered above the sapphire surface.

UNIQUE ROTOR

For the SIGNATURE ORNAMENT Series we have specifically designed and developed an Art-Nouveau inspired rotor, to complement the watch design. It resembles the sunrise in a stylistic and elegant shape with smoothly sweeping lines. The curved faces are contrastes by the sharp diamond-cut chamfers.
